Hire-X is a brand of Takshak Ltd, a UK technology consultancy. It was founded in 2024, after years of helping small and medium businesses modernise their operations.
Why we built Hire-X.
Working as consultants, we kept seeing the same pattern. Capable people buried in repetitive admin. High turnover in desk roles. A widening gap between what smaller businesses needed and what they could afford to hire. Enterprise AI platforms existed, but they assumed six-figure budgets and long integration projects. So we built Hire-X: AI employees deployed with consultancy discipline — proper discovery, real testing, human oversight — at prices a mid-sized UK business can justify.
What we are trying to do.
Give UK businesses working AI employees that fit into the teams and tools they already have — reporting to real managers, operating within agreed limits, and improving over time. Not tooling that needs an engineering team to maintain, and not automation that removes people from the loop.
How we make decisions.
Say no early.
If a workflow is a poor fit for automation, we say so in Discovery, not after you have paid for configuration.
Show the working.
No black boxes. You can see what your AI employee did, why, and when it escalated.
Humans stay in charge.
Every deployment has a named human manager with override authority. That is not a feature; it is a condition of working with us.
Charge for value, not lock-in.
Short minimum terms and a clear exit. If the service is not delivering, you should be able to leave.
Claim only what we can evidence.
We publish our prices and our process. We do not publish testimonials or savings figures we cannot stand behind.
When Hire-X isn't the right fit.

If your process is undocumented and changes weekly.
AI employees need a definable role. If the workflow is still being invented, fix the process first — we can help with that under consulting, but deploying into chaos wastes your money.

If the work is mostly judgement, relationships, or negotiation.
We automate the repetitive parts around that work. We do not automate the work itself, and we will not pretend otherwise.

If you want to remove human oversight entirely.
Every deployment includes a named human manager and approval thresholds. If you want fully unsupervised automation, we are not the right partner.

If your volumes are very small.
For a task that takes an hour a week, the onboarding fee will not pay back. A simpler tool, or nothing, is the honest answer.
